I travel out of the Louisville airport 2-3 times a month. Bourbon Academy is my go to place if I’m not traveling early. They open at 9. I love to sit at the bar with Lorenzo or Joe. Treasure is also great. They are always welcoming and attentive. The bourbon selection is fantastic. And I love their burger. Go for the great people and good food!

Joe and Jason and Treasure were super hosts. The pork rinds are to die for. The best I have ever had. Also and type of gods juice your looking for they have it behind the bar on the wall. King of Kentucky for 85 a little bit of cash but sure is worth it.So my view is if you’re at the airport in Louisville and looking for a place to grab a bite and a drink, you will not be disappointed.If you’re real hungry and looking for breakfast, lunch or dinner food this place will not disappoint. Leave a big tip because their service and food is worth it.

Yes!That's all you need to know, just go up and eat.Food was great! Had the bourbon BBQ wings, then asked for more sauce for my burger! Pasta salad was good too.I didn't try any bourbon but plenty to choose from!Treasure was a waitress to treasure!! Too cheesy? Lol she was great.

Unexpected and an extended wait in the Louisville Airport. The selection of full service restsurants is pretty slim, but this was a pleasant surprise. This is where you want to forget about how frustrating the TSA experience is here.Al was my server and provided great service. The food was far better than typical airport fare and the bourbon selection is really top-notch. I had a few drinks (including a bourbon blood Mary), fried green tomatoes, pretzels…..like I said, an extended stay. Lots of electrical outlets, and a great staff make this the ideal spot to burn time before a flight.Recommend without hesitation. Glad I skipped the Chili’s

Good food and fun drinks - try the Kentucky Mule!Had the grilled chicken salad - ask for the bourbon glaze on the chicken.Lorenzo, Jason and all the staff provided excellent service.

Look, anytime you’re in an airport eating food it’s usually because you’re waiting for a flight and there aren’t many options. The atmosphere in this place is vibrant and open. The service was fantastic from Yevonna. She made sure our 3 hour stop had plenty of refills and food when needed. There were outlets to charge devices and a strong selection of bourbon.

Great little spot for an airport restaurant. The wings were really good and they have a huge list of whiskies. Service was friendly and fast. Will certainly stop by next time I come through Louisville!
